In 2011, Lac-Beauport (Municipalité) had a population of 7,281, representing a percentage change of 19.7% from 2006. This compares to the national average growth of 5.9%.

Land area is 61.27 square kilometres with a population density of 118.8 persons per square kilometre. This compares to the provincial land area of 1,356,547.02 square kilometres with a population density of 5.8 persons per square kilometre.

In 2011, Lac-Beauport (Municipalité) had 2,619 private dwellings occupied by usual residents. The change in private dwellings occupied by usual residents from 2006 was 19.1%. For Canada as a whole, the number of private dwellings occupied by usual residents increased 7.1%.
